Kentucky Derby Future Wager Pool

The Kentucky Derby Future Wager (KDFW) allows fans & horseplayers the opportunity to lock in an early price on horses they think will be in the Kentucky Derby starting gate. These odds are typically greater than those on Kentucky Derby Day because the exact field is still unknown.
Four separate wagering pools are offered. Each respective pool features 23 individual betting interests, with the remaining 3-year-olds lumped together into a mutuel field of “All Others.” The “All Others” option is always listed as #24, with the 23 individual interests being numbered alphabetically.
Win and Exacta wagering is offered in each pool.

If an individual betting interest is injured or removed from consideration for the Kentucky Derby due to any reason, no refunds will be given – all wagers are considered final once issued. Players can access the official KDFW General Rules for more details.
TwinSpires.com serves as the Official Betting Site of the Kentucky Derby and the Kentucky Derby Future Wager, and current and final odds for each KDFW pool is available along with probable payoffs. Final information is also posted on the Kentucky Derby website following the conclusion of wagering in each respective pool.
A Kentucky Derby Sire Pool wager runs concurrently with KDFW Pool 1. The Kentucky Oaks Future Wager is offered during KDFW Pool 3.
